BBQ Festivals and Restaurants Via Cell Phone Internet Access

I was playing with my MotoQ cell phone yesterday and looking at some websites just to see what they looked like. Guess what………….. if you are on the road and you are looking for a bbq festival, restaurant or competition you can access www.bbq-festivals.com and find them. The format is a little off due to screen size but if you can still see all the festival dates and locations along with links to their sites. The same goes for competitions and restaurants and the rest of the site for that matter. I am probably going to experiment with some formatting and in the near future provide a section of the website that fits mobile devices bettter.

So, the next time you are on the road and you are looking for some great bbq, just hit the internet on your cell phone and there you go…………….. enjoy.

Jan from Branchville NJ writes to tell us about Hot Rods Real Pit BBQ in Wharton NJ.  Jan says

“My wife and I have eaten there a number of times and the food and service are both excellent. They have baked beans to die for and of course their ribs and pulled pork are great - the sauce they use is unusual but we both like it very much - it is vinegar based. The various meals are priced about the same as other places we have been to and their hours are right for everyone.”

And finally we get an email from someone in TN about two bbq joints with a little bit of a rivaly between them. Neither one has a website but one has some really go reviews on Roadfood.com.

“Ridgewood BBQ
900 Elizabethton Hghwy
Bluff City, TN 37618
423-538-7543

No website but VERY famous. Check out reviews posted on other sites (Roadfood.com)

Pardner’s BBQ (off-shoot of Ridgewood via a family feud and IMHO better tasting)

544 Hghwy 11E
Piney Flats, TN 37618
423-538-5539″

Richard from Norwall MA sends us a link to add to our hot sauces page for Dirty Dicks Hot Sauce

Laura from Alto Travel and Event Management sends us a link to the City of Kennesaw’s 2008 Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival on Friday & Saturday, August 8-9

We love emails like these at BBQ-Festivals.com  If anyone finds themselves in TN and can hit these two feuding bbq place please take some photos and send us a review…….

Have a great Q day…………eric
